Nassau Swim Team has existed for over 40 years with a long tradition of balancing fun and learning in a supportive team environment. Our program runs from June to the end of July and is open to swimmers of all skill levels. The coaches focus on improving the abilities of each swimmer while promoting spirit, respect, and good sportsmanship among the team.

Swimmers must be between the ages of 4-18 on June 1. No previous experience is required but swimmers should be able to swim one length of the pool. Nassau is a Division II member of PASDA (Princeton Area Swim and Dive Association) and competes against other Division II teams in the area. The season includes social and charitable activities such as an intersquad fun meet, a swim-a-thon and a team picnic.

Coaching Staff

Rachel Adlai-Gail - Head Coach

Rachel will be one of the head swim coaches at Nassau this summer! She is a graduate at West Windsor-Plainsboro High School North and is a student-athlete swimming at Bryn Mawr.

She began working at Nassau as a lifeguard and has since been a swim coach for the past three summers. Rachel has also been an aquatics program counselor and taught private swim and dive lessons. Having grown up at Nassau, Rachel has been a Lemming her whole life.

Rachel began her swimming career here at Nassau and was on the Hamilton Y Aquatic Club team since she was eight. She swam on the West Windsor-Plainsboro High School North Varsity swim team for four years and was captain of the team her senior year. She has also been diving for Nassau for over 10 years.

Rachel will be starting her MS at Bryn Mawr College this fall where she is studying Psychology and Social Work.

Rachel can't wait to have a great summer with all of the little Nassau Lemmings!

Becca Adlai-Gail - Swim Meet Coach

Becca is returning for her sixth year as a swim coach at Nassau, however her life as a Lemming began much earlier. Becca joined the swim team at age 4 and the dive team at age 7, making Nassau her official second home.

Becca has completed her undergraduate and Master's degrees at Bryn Mawr College, studying Psychology and Social Work. She was also a captain on the Varsity swim team.

Since graduating, Becca has been working as a psychotherapist in the Princeton area. Despite having a full-time job, you can’t keep her away from the pool and all of the Nassau swim team fun! Becca is very excited to be a part of the wonderful Lemming community again this year!
