Children should bring lunch, two snacks, and a water bottle for the day. There is a refrigerator on-site for your child to keep their bagged lunch cold. Please tell the counselor if your child has any dietary restrictions or allergies. We do not provide food for the counselors but it is safer for your child if they are made aware of any restrictions.
Please bring sunscreen, a pair of sneakers for activities, and a towel.
No. A blue suit and cap will be fine for this summer. There is an option to purchase Nassau swim gear from Argon (the link is found on our homepage) but they may not arrive for the swim meets on time.
Since the Aquatics Program takes place entirely outside, there will be a day when rain interferes with certain activities. There is a covered walkway that the counselors will use to entertain the kids during a rain shower. If the rain is severe or if there is a prolonged thunderstorm with lightning, you may be asked to pick your child up from the pool.
According to the latest CDC guidelines for outdoor programs, the children are not required to wear a mask outside during activities. If you would like your child to wear a mask when not in the pool, please speak directly to the counselor so they can reinforce your wishes.
Thank you and we are looking forward to a great summer!
